Yvonne Pedersen Wins 2024 Supernova Award

The Supernova Award represents our company’s pinnacle in individual achievement. The award, chosen through anonymous voting of their peers, is presented to the standout team member of the year by our Executive Team during the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Memory Gala, a night dedicated to celebrating those who excel in their profession, foster a culture of compassionate professionalism and positive leadership, and put people first, always.

This year, we are proud to congratulate our Social Director, Yvonne Pedersen, as the recipient of the 2024 The Charlotte Supernova Award. She oversees a team whose goal is to host meaningful, diverse, and engaging social programs. Ensuring that members come together for activities, unique dining events, and clubs/organizations creates friendships and a tight-knit community at The Charlotte. As the Wellness Director, she is passionate about helping members improve their health and well-being through exercise. She takes pride in measuring and reporting her members’ improvements and cheering them on through their journey.

Yvonne has a background as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and has applied her expertise to a lengthy career in senior living. She has spent the last eight years working with Members of other communities and has brought her skills to The Charlotte. The past year at The Charlotte has been great, with Yvonne encouraging our Members to participate in new programs and starting our monthly signature experiences.
