Super Bowl Vaccine Clinic
To celebrate Members of The Charlotte receiving their 2nd vaccination, the community hosted a pre-Superbowl Party! Attendees were grateful to once again join together as a community to celebrate this exciting event.
Cooking Club
Throughout 2021, Members at The Charlotte have been cooking up a variety of delicious recipes as a part of their Cooking Club! Some of the favorites this year from the Cooking Club have been their handmade charcuterie boards, red velvet waffles with homemade cream cheese drizzle, and dessert nachos!
Pet Parade
Nothing beats a day full of puppies, right? The Charlotte hosted their very first Pet Parade and it was truly enjoyable for all attendees. The community welcomed over 30 dogs to take part in this exciting event! All four-legged friends took home doggie goodie bags from Pet Suites and Pet in the City! It was truly a PAWesome day for all of our parade participants and attendees!
Lake Wylie Boat Ride
Life is better at the lake! Located just minutes from Lake Wylie, The Charlotte’s Executive Director, Leslie Workman took Members out for an afternoon pontoon boat ride. Attendees enjoyed hitting the water for a day of sunshine and lunch on the lake at Papa Doc’s Shore Club, a tiki bar/restaurant.
John Lewis Performs!
Local entertainer, John Lewis, is one of The Charlotte’s favorite musical acts. Attendees of his shows love his energy, music catalogue, and how he gets everyone up on their feet to dance! It never fails that Members are singing and dancing right along with John!
