It was what we call, Fun Friday! This week we played Beachball Hockey which ended up being a huge hit. We worked on both our dominant hand and non-dominant hands. These types of activities support our Member’s dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

On Carnival Day at The Charlotte, Members walked into a world of exploration and whimsy! Our team hosted a day of fun ‘under the big top’ with a lot of carnival themed events. There was a photo booth set up complete with props, a concession stand with all snow cones and popcorn!

Music is good for the soul. We had lovely local musicians come to perform for our Members. They set up in our courtyard for Members in Reflections, they sat around the windows and enjoyed the performance. It even inspired a few of them to play their instruments!

Apply Now The Charlotte has begun accepting applications for their annual Silver Pen Writing Competition. Every year, this writing competition awards three local high school seniors with scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500. The deadline to apply is February 12th, 2021.
